    55 Hair & Barbers is a premier Hair Salon in the village of Ellistown just on the outskirts of Coalville.

    We - Lindsay and Mel have owned 55 since 2011, we started 55 Hair & Barbers as a hairdressing salon in 2011 and Was known as 55 Corner Boutique. 

    In 2020/2021 we introduced the barbering side hence it being renamed.

    We offer a wide range of Barbering services to include modern fades, traditional cuts, wet shaving, beard design, nose and ear waxing.

    Our aim is to create a relaxed and calming atmosphere for every client to enjoy and to have a memorable and special experience.

About me

Lindsay

I started my career in Barbering a little later than some and was trained by the famous Sid Sottung who owns barbering academies in England and scotland. 

After training I was lucky enough to be offered a position within one of his Barber Shops in the City of Leicester. 

After gaining experience and more so confidence I set up on my own within the salon my partner and I have owned for 10 years - the well known 55 Corner Boutique salon in Ellistown. 

The former 55 Corner Boutique has had a name change and a refurb to accommodate a barbering section. 

On the Barbering side I offer and have been trained in traditional and modern barbering to include the popular skin fades, beard design, traditional wet Shaving,luxury beard trims with hot towels, oils and cologne, nose and ear waxing.
